Final Piece

This is my final piece that i have created. I created this using the screen printing technique.

Screenprint Work in Progress

To create my screen print, I took my favourite draft and made two different layers. 

Once the layers had been printed off, and the screens were ready for printing, I created my screen print. I used blue and black ink to create my screen print for my final piece.

I scrapped the ink down the screen to create my print.

This is what my print looked like when I had finished.

Colour Choices

Digital Type

When researching type, I looked on Dafont and found some typefaces that I thought I could use. I annotated the typefaces to find which one would suit the best.

Drawings of Subject Matter

These are the drawings for my subject matter, Aladdin. I drew out the main iconography of the film. I also watercolours some of the drawings as well.

My Own Type

This is my own type that I created after using different materials to find the right type that I liked and that would fit my theme.

These are type that i have created, which i think would be suitable to incorporate in some of my work.

Typography

I also created some hand drawn type as well, in which I used different materials to create them.

Refined Scamps

After I had created my scamps, I decided to refine them on Photoshop. To refine them I scanned them into Photoshop and then chose colours that were related to the film Aladdin to colour them. I used a variety of colours. By refining them it helped me with my ideas for my final piece.
